Weight Loss Drink Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
- 1/2 packet (about 50g) of frozen acai puree (or 1 tablespoon acai powder)
- 1/2 banana (for creaminess)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any other plant-based milk)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)
Garnish:
- A few fresh blueberries and blackberries
- A sprig of fresh mint
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ingredients: Rinse the blueberries and blackberries. If using frozen acai puree, run it under warm water to soften slightly.
- Blend the Base: Add the blueberries, blackberries, acai puree (or powder), banana, and almond milk to your blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Check Consistency: If you prefer a thinner smoothie, add more almond milk until you reach the desired consistency. For a thicker smoothie, use less liquid or add a few ice cubes.
- Sweeten (Optional): Taste the smoothie. If you prefer it sweeter, add honey or maple syrup, and blend again.
- Serve and Garnish: Pour the smoothie into a tall clear glass with a frosty exterior. Garnish with a few fresh blueberries and blackberries on top, and add a sprig of fresh mint.
- Enjoy: Serve immediately while fresh, and enjoy your rich, vibrant purple smoothie!
